Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-107128 describes an incorrect authorization vulnerability (CWE-863) in the Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.8.2. The plugin fails to verify that the acting user has permission to manage the targeted accounts before changing their verification state. As a result, a subsite administrator on a multisite network can mark arbitrary network users outside their own site as unverified, effectively blocking those users from logging in.

Potential Impact

An attacker with subsite administrator privileges on a multisite WordPress network can disrupt the login ability of users from other sites by marking them as unverified. This could lead to denial of service for those users within the network.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade the Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash plugin to version 3.8.2 or later, where this authorization issue has been fixed. No other mitigations are specified.
