AI-suggested

Users should upgrade to a fixed version once available. Until then, restrict access to the REST endpoint if possible, and consider disabling the Mapster WP Maps plugin or removing the affected shortcode from pages. Monitor vendor advisories for updates and apply official fixes promptly when released.

Description

Mapster WP Maps plugin for WordPress versions up to 2.0.5 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) due to improper input sanitization and lack of permission checks on a REST route. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when users access affected pages.
