Description
ruoyi-ai versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.0 have a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated users to delete workflows owned by other users. Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-108112 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in ruoyi-ai versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.0. Authenticated users can delete workflows belonging to other users by sending a POST request to /workflow/del/{uuid}. The UUIDs can be retrieved from the GET /workflow/search endpoint. The root cause is that the softDelete() method does not perform the expected ownership verification via PrivilegeUtil.checkAndGetByUuid(), allowing unauthorized deletion of workflows.
Potential Impact
An authenticated user can delete workflows owned by other users, potentially disrupting workflow operations and causing data loss or denial of service for affected users. The vulnerability requires authentication but no additional privileges, making it a medium-severity issue.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the workflow deletion endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious deletion activity.
