Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108903 describes a vulnerability in pH7Builder (pH7 Social Dating CMS) prior to version 19.3.0 where the PFBC Form::isValid() method relies on untrusted client input for form identification. Attackers can exploit this by loading a CAPTCHA-free form (e.g., login or search) and submitting its form ID with data intended for other forms (contact, comment, forum, invite, signup), effectively bypassing CAPTCHA validation and enabling automated abuse.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass CAPTCHA protections on forms that normally require validation, increasing the risk of automated abuse such as spam submissions or unauthorized form actions. This can degrade service quality and potentially facilitate further attacks relying on automated form submissions.

Mitigation Recommendations

A fix is available in pH7Builder version 19.3.0. Users should upgrade to version 19.3.0 or later to remediate this vulnerability. No vendor advisory was provided, so check the official pH7Builder release notes or security advisories for patch availability and upgrade instructions.
