Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: TDuckCloud
Product: tduck-survey-form

Description

TDuck survey form through 6.0 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows authenticated users to add fields to other users' forms via POST /user/form/item/batch/create. Attackers can submit an array whose first element references their own form and later elements reference a victim's formKey, injecting attacker-chosen fields onto the victim's public fill page.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-109165 describes a broken access control vulnerability in TDuckCloud's tduck-survey-form up to version 6.0. Authenticated users can exploit the POST /user/form/item/batch/create endpoint by submitting an array where the first element references their own form and subsequent elements reference a victim's formKey. This allows injection of arbitrary fields into the victim's public survey form, bypassing authorization controls.

Potential Impact

An attacker with authentication privileges can modify other users' survey forms by injecting fields, potentially altering the data collection process or misleading survey respondents. The vulnerability does not require user interaction or elevated privileges beyond authentication, but it may impact data integrity and trust in the survey forms.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected endpoint and monitor for suspicious activity related to form modifications.
