CVE-2026-109176: Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in moxi624 MoguBlog
Description
MoguBlog through 6.2 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators to delete other administrators' files via POST /networkDisk/deleteFile and batchDeleteFile. Attackers can supply another administrator's file or folder uid, which NetworkDiskServiceImpl.deleteFile never checks against admin_uid, removing stored objects from local storage, Qiniu or MinIO.

Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-109176 is an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in MoguBlog through version 6.2. Authenticated administrators can exploit this flaw by supplying the UID of another administrator's file or folder to the POST endpoints /networkDisk/deleteFile and batchDeleteFile. The NetworkDiskServiceImpl.deleteFile method fails to verify that the file or folder UID corresponds to the requesting administrator's UID, allowing deletion of files from local storage, Qiniu, or MinIO storage services without proper authorization checks.
Potential Impact
An authenticated administrator can delete files or folders owned by other administrators, potentially leading to loss of important data stored locally or in integrated cloud storage services such as Qiniu or MinIO. This could disrupt operations or cause data integrity issues within the affected MoguBlog installation.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict administrator access to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious deletion activity. Avoid sharing administrator credentials and consider additional access controls to limit the impact of this vulnerability.
