Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: moxi624
Product: MoguBlog

Description

MoguBlog through 6.2 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators to move or rename other administrators' network-disk files by supplying their file paths. Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-109177 describes a broken access control vulnerability in MoguBlog through version 6.2. Authenticated administrators can exploit this flaw by sending crafted POST requests to /networkDisk/moveFile, batchMoveFile, or edit endpoints. These endpoints update file or folder records without verifying the admin_uid, allowing attackers to move or rename files and folders owned by other administrators. This bypass of access controls compromises file integrity and ownership boundaries within the network disk feature.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows authenticated administrators to manipulate files and folders owned by other administrators without proper authorization checks. This could lead to unauthorized modification or relocation of critical files, potentially disrupting operations or causing data integrity issues. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 5.3, indicating a medium severity impact.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict administrator access to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious file operations involving network disk endpoints.
