Upgrade Open WebUI to version 0.11.4 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation or workaround is indicated.
Description
Open WebUI versions from 0.11.0 up to but not including 0.11.4 contain a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vulnerability. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw by providing file search patterns that cause catastrophic backtracking in regex processing, stalling server workers and blocking the event loop for approximately two seconds per repeated call. This vulnerability is fixed in version 0.11.4.
