Technical Analysis
Yshopmall versions up to 2.0.0 contain an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the member address API endpoints (/address/detail/{id}, /address/del, /address/edit). Authenticated members can enumerate sequential address IDs to access, modify, or delete shipping addresses belonging to other users without proper authorization checks, leading to unauthorized disclosure and modification of personal data.
Potential Impact
An attacker with valid authentication can read sensitive personal information of other users, including recipient names, phone numbers, and addresses. They can also overwrite or delete these shipping addresses, potentially disrupting order deliveries or causing privacy violations. This compromises user data confidentiality and integrity within the application.
Mitigation Recommendations
No patch or official fix information is provided. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected API endpoints to authorized users only and implement proper authorization checks to prevent unauthorized access to other users' address data.
