Until a fix is available, users should consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameter or applying web application firewall (WAF) rules to detect and block SQL injection attempts targeting the 'slug' parameter.

Description

The Newsmatic WordPress theme by blazethemes contains a blind SQL Injection vulnerability in the 'slug' parameter in all versions up to and including 1.5.0. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject additional SQL commands due to improper escaping and insufficient query preparation, potentially exposing sensitive database information.
