Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-110444 is a code injection vulnerability in TeamPlus Messenger that enables unauthenticated remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript by tricking users into opening a crafted link. This requires user interaction to confirm a Windows security prompt, after which attackers can execute code with the current user's privileges. The vulnerability affects versions from 16.8.0 up to and including 17.0.6. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 8.6, indicating high severity.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the current user, potentially leading to unauthorized actions on the affected system. The attack requires user interaction and confirmation of a Windows security warning, limiting automatic exploitation but still posing a significant risk.

Mitigation Recommendations

No official patch or remediation details are provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, users should be cautious about opening links from untrusted sources and heed Windows security warnings carefully.
