Users should monitor the vendor's advisory for updates and apply any forthcoming patches promptly. Until a fix is available, restricting access to the vulnerable AJAX action or disabling the Userplace plugin may mitigate risk.

Description

The Userplace WordPress plugin versions up to 1.2.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability due to missing authorization checks on an AJAX action accessible to unauthenticated users. The nonce protecting this action is publicly exposed, enabling attackers to create administrator accounts or modify site options, potentially resulting in full site takeover.
