Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: nezhahq
Product: nezha

Description

Nezha versions from 2.2.5 up to but not including 2.3.15 have an information disclosure vulnerability. Authenticated users with the nezha:ddns:read scope can retrieve cleartext third-party credentials from DDNS webhook profiles because sensitive fields like WebhookURL and WebhookRequestBody are not redacted in the API response.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-111387 describes an information disclosure vulnerability in Nezha versions >=2.2.5 and <2.3.15. The issue arises because the listDDNS API endpoint (GET /api/v1/ddns) fails to redact sensitive information such as WebhookURL and WebhookRequestBody. Consequently, authenticated users with the nezha:ddns:read permission can access cleartext tokens embedded in users' DDNS webhook profiles, exposing third-party credentials.

Potential Impact

This vulnerability allows authenticated users with specific read permissions to access sensitive third-party credentials in cleartext. This could lead to unauthorized access or misuse of those third-party services if the credentials are abused. The CVSS 4.0 score is 7.1 (high severity), reflecting the network attack vector, low complexity, no user interaction, and high confidentiality impact.

Mitigation Recommendations

A fix is available in Nezha version 2.3.15 or later. Users should upgrade to version 2.3.15 or above to remediate this vulnerability. Until then, restrict access to the nezha:ddns:read scope to trusted users only to minimize exposure.
