Published: 10/20/2026 (10/20/2026, 09:30:47 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: TYPO3
Product: Extension "TYPO3 Shop by coding.ms"

Description

The order cancellation function accepts an order identifier from the request and acts on that order without checking that the caller owns it. Any site visitor can set orders that are still awaiting payment to "canceled". This requires a page that contains the shop's order plugin. Orders that are already paid are not affected.

Technical Analysis

The vulnerability in the TYPO3 extension "TYPO3 Shop by coding.ms" allows unauthenticated users to cancel orders that are awaiting payment by supplying an order identifier in the request. The extension fails to check ownership or authorization before performing the cancellation action. This affects versions >=0 <4.9.4, >=5.0.0 <5.21.1, and >=6.0.0 <6.3.0. Paid orders are not impacted by this issue.

Potential Impact

An attacker or any site visitor can cancel unpaid orders without authorization, potentially disrupting order processing and causing denial of service to legitimate customers. There is no impact on paid orders, and no indication of further privilege escalation or data disclosure.

Mitigation Recommendations

No official patch or fix is currently referenced. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to pages containing the order plugin or implement custom authorization checks to ensure only order owners can cancel their orders.
