AI-suggested
Upgrade OpenBao to version 2.6.4 or later in the 2.6.x series, or 2.7.1 or later in the 2.7.x series to remediate this vulnerability. These versions contain the fix that prevents exposure of the tls_acme_eab_mac_key via the sanitized configuration endpoint.
Description
OpenBao versions 2.2.0 through before 2.6.4 and 2.7.0 before 2.7.1 have an information disclosure vulnerability. The tls_acme_eab_mac_key is exposed via the sys/config/state/sanitized endpoint, allowing callers to retrieve the ACME External Account Binding MAC key. This key is used for TLS listener certificates and could enable binding to the operator's ACME account.
