AI-suggested

Since the vulnerability affects versions up to 3.3.16, users should upgrade to a version later than 3.3.16 once available. Until a fix is released, administrators should exercise caution when previewing pending testimonials submitted by untrusted sources. Monitor the vendor's advisory channels for official patches or updates.

Description

The Strong Testimonials WordPress plugin up to version 3.3.16 is vulnerable to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) flaw via the 'star_rating' parameter. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when an administrator previews a pending testimonial, a step common in the plugin's moderation process.
