Users should consider disabling or removing the Static Snapshot plugin until a vendor-provided update is available. Monitor the vendor's advisory channels for remediation updates. Avoid exposing the plugin to untrusted users or public access in the meantime.

Description

The Static Snapshot WordPress plugin up to version 0.2.1 contains a code injection vulnerability due to improper sanitization of shell metacharacters in user input. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server hosting the plugin.
