AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, it is recommended to disable the HTML Minify option (O_OPTM_HTML_MIN) to prevent exploitation. Additionally, review usage of companion plugins that render stored comment content in raw-text contexts such as JSON-LD script blocks and consider disabling or updating them.

Description

The LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in all versions up to and including 7.9.1. This vulnerability arises from improper input sanitization and output escaping of the 'comment' parameter. It is exploitable only when the HTML Minify option is enabled and a companion plugin renders stored comment content into a raw-text context such as a JSON-LD script block on the same page. An unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary scripts that execute when a user accesses the affected page.
