Upgrade SQLite to version 3.53.2 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required.

Description

SQLite versions prior to 3.53.2 contain an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the FTS5 full-text search extension. This flaw allows attackers to crash the process by supplying a crafted database with a malformed FTS5 leaf page that triggers a read beyond the page buffer during an FTS5 MATCH query. The vulnerability affects applications compiled with SQLITE_ENABLE_FTS5 enabled.
