AI-suggested

Upgrade Vite to version 6.4.5 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is required as the fix corrects the order of validation and canonicalization.

Description

Vite versions from 6.4.4 up to but not including 6.4.5 have a vulnerability where the development server improperly orders validation and canonicalization of file system access rules. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to bypass server.fs.deny restrictions by appending certain loader query parameters, potentially accessing sensitive files that should be denied. The issue is fixed in version 6.4.5.
