Users should check the vendor's advisory or update channels for official fixes. Until a patch is available, disabling public Insert Post forms or removing Calculated Fields referencing post meta keys may mitigate exploitation. Monitor vendor communications for updates and apply official fixes promptly once released.

Description

The JetFormBuilder — Dynamic Blocks Form Builder WordPress plugin up to version 3.6.8 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can inject malicious scripts via a form field mapped to a post meta key, which execute when users access the affected pages. Exploitation requires a public Insert Post form configured to write to a post meta key and a Calculated Field referencing that key. This vulnerability has a high severity rating with a CVSS score of 7.2.
