AI-suggested

A fix is available in versions after 2026-07-28. Users should upgrade Munshi to a version released after this date to remediate the vulnerability. Until patched, restrict sub-user permissions to prevent unauthorized invoice deletions if possible.

Description

Munshi by Petpooja before 2026-07-28 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated sub-users to delete invoices they do not own. The flaw exists in the DELETE /api/invoice/{invoice_id} and POST /api/invoices/bulk-delete endpoints, which verify only tenant membership but fail to enforce object-level ownership or permission checks. This can lead to unauthorized deletion of invoices, causing data loss.
