A fix is available in versions released after 2026-07-13. Users should upgrade Munshi to a version later than 2026-07-13 to remediate this vulnerability. No additional mitigation guidance is provided, and no known exploits are reported in the wild.
Description
Munshi by Petpooja before 2026-07-13 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Authenticated users can inject malicious markup via item descriptions or messages in the Purchase Inquiry thread, which is rendered using innerHTML before text cleaning completes. This allows JavaScript execution in the browser of other users who open the affected thread, leading to full-page defacement that recurs on thread reopening.
