Until a fix is available, restrict access to the TCP port 10100 listener and avoid loading untrusted VobSub subtitle files to mitigate exploitation risk.

Description

CVE-2026-119738 is an infinite loop vulnerability in the VobSub subtitle decoder component of Nexbox A95X TV boxes. The flaw occurs in the get_vob_spu() function due to mismatched length fields, causing an unreachable loop exit condition. This can be triggered by unauthenticated network attackers via TCP port 10100 or by local users loading malicious subtitle files. Exploitation results in the subtitle decode thread consuming 100% CPU indefinitely, causing a denial of service.
