Users should check the vendor's advisory for updates or patches. Until a fix is available, restrict contributor-level access and higher to trusted users only. Monitor for updates from the plugin vendor and apply official patches promptly once released.

Description

UsersWP plugin for WordPress versions up to 1.2.80 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the 'badge' parameter. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users, especially editors or administrators, view the affected pages. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
