Description

CVE-2026-121399 is a memory allocation vulnerability in FreeRDP versions before 3.32.2. It occurs in the rdg_receive_packet function, where a malicious Remote Desktop Gateway can cause the client to allocate 2 GiB of memory before tunnel authentication. This is triggered by sending a crafted eight-byte RDG header with a large packet length, leading to pre-authentication memory exhaustion and denial of service.
