Description

CVE-2026-121951 is a high-severity vulnerability in FreeRDP versions 3.0.0 up to but not including 3.32.2. It involves a reachable assertion failure in the server-side RDP peer input parsing logic. Specifically, the server skips checking the length of a six-byte body in a slow-path input event with an unknown message type, which can lead to an assertion failure and denial of service when a remote client sends a truncated unknown input event.
