Until a fix is available, restrict or disable file upload checkout fields where possible and monitor for plugin updates from Themehigh. Consider removing or disabling the vulnerable plugin version to prevent exploitation.

Description

The Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce (Pro) plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 3.8.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary attachments by exploiting a missing capability or ownership check in the ajax_remove_uploaded() function. The vulnerability arises because the AJAX handler is accessible to both authenticated and unauthenticated users and is protected only by a nonce that is publicly available on checkout pages with file upload fields. Exploitation can lead to deletion of important media files and potential denial of service.
