Users should restrict author-level access to trusted users only and monitor for plugin updates from the vendor. Avoid loading the URI Editor admin page with untrusted slugs until a fix is available.

Description

The Permalink Manager Lite WordPress plugin up to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) via the 'slug' parameter. Authenticated users with author-level or higher privileges can inject malicious scripts through the REST API by submitting crafted post slugs. These scripts execute in administrator browsers when accessing the URI Editor admin page, potentially compromising session integrity.
