Description

CVE-2026-12701 is a critical path traversal vulnerability in the pulpcore component of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.5 for RHEL 8. The vulnerability arises because the relative_path_validator function does not properly block directory traversal sequences such as "../" in file paths.
