Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-15360 is a SQL injection vulnerability (CWE-89) in the Ajax Load More WordPress plugin versions prior to 8.0.1. The plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape a parameter before incorporating it into a SQL query. This security flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to conduct time-based blind SQL injection attacks, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the backend database.

Potential Impact

An attacker who exploits this vulnerability can perform time-based blind SQL injection without authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive database information. This could compromise the confidentiality of data stored by the affected WordPress site.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Users should upgrade to version 8.0.1 or later once available, as the vulnerability affects versions before 8.0.1. Until an official fix is confirmed, restrict access to the vulnerable plugin functionality where possible.
