Description

WP Helper Premium WordPress plugin versions before 4.7.6 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability. Technical Analysis

The WP Helper Premium plugin for WordPress, prior to version 4.7.6, does not verify the order key when rendering its custom order confirmation page or handling related AJAX requests. This lack of verification enables unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive order information of other customers and change the state of arbitrary orders. The vulnerability is contingent on WooCommerce being active and the optional order confirmation page module of WP Helper Premium being enabled.

Potential Impact

Unauthenticated attackers can access personal order details of other customers and modify order states, potentially leading to privacy violations and unauthorized order manipulation.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, consider disabling the optional order confirmation page module in WP Helper Premium or restricting access to it to trusted users only.
