AI-suggested
This vulnerability has been fixed in the Linux kernel. Users should apply the official patches identified by the fixed commit hashes to resolve the issue. No additional mitigation is required once the fix is applied.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol caused an underflow in the bc_ackers counter due to processing duplicate group ACK messages. This underflow leads to persistent congestion reports and blocks further group broadcasts on the affected socket until the group is recreated. The issue has been fixed by making the GRP_ACK_MSG handling idempotent, ignoring duplicate or stale ACKs.
