Published: 07/29/2026 (07/29/2026, 12:42:07 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: OpenSolution
Product: Quick.CMS

Description

A Blind SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Quick.CMS. Improper neutralization of input provided by a high-privileged user into multiple fields in administration panel allows for Blind SQL Injection attacks. The vendor states that this administration panel already allows for significant modification capabilities. The SQL injection vulnerability primarily enables bypassing front-end validation controls and potential database destruction. Given the trust model in which this application is designed to be administered, remediation of this issue was not deemed necessary by the vendor. This vulnerability has been found in version 6.8, but other versions might also be vulnerable.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-33385 describes a Blind SQL injection vulnerability (CWE-89) in OpenSolution Quick.CMS version 6.8. The vulnerability arises from improper neutralization of input in multiple fields within the administration panel, which is accessible to high-privileged users. This allows attackers with such privileges to perform Blind SQL injection attacks, potentially bypassing front-end validation and causing database destruction. The vendor has not issued a patch or remediation, considering the administration panel's trust model and existing modification powers sufficient to mitigate the risk.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability enables high-privileged users to execute Blind SQL injection attacks, which can bypass front-end validation controls and potentially lead to database destruction. Since the administration panel already allows significant modification capabilities, the impact is primarily on the integrity and availability of the database managed through the panel.

Mitigation Recommendations

No official fix or patch is available for this vulnerability. The vendor has indicated that remediation was not deemed necessary due to the trusted nature of the administration panel and its existing capabilities. Users should carefully control access to the administration panel and monitor for misuse. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance.
