Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-34047 is an incorrect authorization vulnerability (CWE-863) in coollabsio's Coolify product. Before version 4.0.0-beta.471, the terminal WebSocket bootstrap routes did not enforce the expected authorization middleware. This allowed authenticated users to access terminal features for resources outside their permission scope, potentially enabling unauthorized command execution. The vulnerability has a CVSS 3.1 base score of 9.9, indicating critical severity with network attack vector, low attack complexity, required privileges, no user interaction, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The issue is resolved in version 4.0.0-beta.471.

Potential Impact

An authenticated user can bypass authorization controls on terminal WebSocket bootstrap routes, gaining access to terminal functionality for resources they should not control. This can lead to unauthorized command execution, compromising confidentiality, integrity, and availability of affected systems.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade to version 4.0.0-beta.471 or later, where the authorization middleware enforcement issue is fixed. Patch status is confirmed by the vendor stating the fix is in 4.0.0-beta.471. No additional mitigations are indicated.
