Description
CVE-2026-42314 is a path traversal vulnerability in pyLoad, a Python-based download manager. Versions prior to 0.5.0b3.dev100 improperly sanitize package folder names, allowing attackers to exploit the partial replacement of the pattern ....// to .._, leaving .. sequences that can be resolved by the OS to traverse directories. This flaw is fixed in version 0.5.0b3.dev100.
