A fix has been applied in the Linux kernel source code as indicated by multiple fixed commit versions. Users and administrators should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes to resolve the issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mac80211 wireless subsystem was fixed by adding a check to ensure that TDLS operations only apply to actual TDLS stations. Previously, the code allowed operations intended for TDLS peers to proceed on non-TDLS stations, causing unintended side effects such as modifying channel context and HT protection before failing.
