Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-47351 is a missing authorization vulnerability (CWE-862) in TYPO3 CMS where backend users can insert arbitrary records and files into the clipboard without proper read permission validation. This flaw allows users to access information about records and files they should not be authorized to view. The vulnerability affects TYPO3 CMS versions 10.4.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2. No official remediation level or patch information is provided in the available data.

Potential Impact

Unauthorized backend users can gather information about records and files they are not permitted to view by exploiting the missing authorization checks when inserting items into the TYPO3 clipboard. This could lead to information disclosure within the affected TYPO3 CMS installations.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Since no official fix or remediation level is provided, administrators should monitor TYPO3 vendor communications for updates. Until a patch is available, restrict backend user permissions to minimize exposure.
