Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-47930 is an improper input validation vulnerability in Adobe ColdFusion affecting versions 2023.0.0 to 2023.19 and 2025.0.0 to 2025.8. This vulnerability enables a low-privileged attacker to bypass security mechanisms, resulting in unauthorized read and write access to the system. Exploitation does not require user interaction. The CVSS v3.1 base score is 8.1, indicating high impact on confidentiality and integrity, with no impact on availability. No vendor advisory or patch information is currently available, and the remediation level is unspecified.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows an attacker with low privileges to bypass security controls and gain unauthorized read and write access to the affected ColdFusion system. This compromises confidentiality and integrity of data and system resources. There is no indication of availability impact. No known exploits in the wild have been reported at this time.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Since no official fix or workaround is provided, monitor Adobe's security advisories for updates. Until a patch is available, consider restricting access to ColdFusion instances and applying compensating controls to limit exposure.
