AI-suggested

Upgrade Chartbrew to version 5.2.1 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. The vendor advisory confirms that the issue is resolved in this version. No additional mitigation is required if the system is updated.

Description

Chartbrew versions prior to 5.2.1 contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability due to improper handling of NAT64-prefixed IPv4 addresses in outbound URL validation. Authenticated users with API connection management privileges can exploit this to send requests to internal IPv4 addresses via a NAT64 gateway, potentially accessing sensitive internal resources such as cloud metadata services. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.1.
