Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-54809 describes an improper neutralization of special elements used in an SQL command (SQL Injection) vulnerability in VillaTheme GIFT4U. The flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to perform blind SQL injection attacks remotely, potentially exposing sensitive data (confidentiality impact) and causing partial denial of service (availability impact). The vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.0.10. There is no vendor advisory or patch currently available, and no known exploits have been reported in the wild.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute blind SQL injection attacks without authentication, leading to high confidentiality impact by potentially exposing sensitive data and low availability impact by causing partial denial of service. There is no impact on data integrity. This poses a critical risk to affected systems running vulnerable versions of GIFT4U.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is released, users should consider applying workarounds if available or restrict access to the affected application to trusted users only.
