Until a fix is available, restrict FileTransfer authorizations to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious activity related to input injection or screen capture.
Description
CVE-2026-58056 is an authorization vulnerability in RustDesk where control messages are incorrectly gated by per-capability flags instead of the session's authorized connection type. This flaw allows a peer with only FileTransfer authorization to inject keyboard and mouse inputs and access screenshot and display-capture functions beyond its intended permissions.
