Description

HAPI FHIR versions prior to 6.9.11 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the hidden scan command of Scanner.java. This vulnerability arises from improper input validation where attacker-controlled Implementation Guide titles, profile titles, and source references are concatenated into an HTML report without proper escaping. When a user opens or publishes this generated local or CI HTML report, attacker-controlled JavaScript can execute in the browser context. The issue is fixed in version 6.9.11.
