AI-suggested
Upgrade FearlessCMS to version 0.1.4 or later, where these vulnerabilities are fixed. The vendor has released an official fix addressing authentication checks, CSRF protection, and path validation. Until upgraded, restrict access to the admin directory and avoid using the built-in PHP development server or default Docker deployment in production environments.
Description
FearlessCMS versions prior to 0.1.4 contain multiple critical security flaws in five debug/test PHP scripts under the admin directory. These scripts lack authentication checks, CSRF protection, and proper path validation, allowing attackers to bypass admin login via crafted URIs. Vulnerabilities include arbitrary file writes enabling site defacement and stored cross-site scripting, arbitrary directory enumeration and file reads exposing sensitive metadata, and unauthenticated log file writes leading to potential disk exhaustion. The issue is fixed in version 0.1.4.
