AI-suggested

Upgrade OpenRemote to version 1.26.0 or later, where this SQL injection vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigations are indicated or required by the vendor advisory.

Description

OpenRemote versions prior to 1.26.0 contain an SQL injection vulnerability in the datapoint export API. This flaw arises from unsafe concatenation of asset and attribute names into a SQL COPY query using crosstab, allowing an authenticated user with asset creation or renaming permissions to inject SQL code. Exploitation can lead to unauthorized data exfiltration via the exported CSV without needing direct database or filesystem access. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.26.0.
