Description
CVE-2026-64112 is a race condition vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RADOS Block Device (rbd) driver related to lock draining during unmap operations. The issue arises from a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race where lock-related work may be requeued unexpectedly, potentially causing lock acquisition after resources have been released. This can lead to invalid memory access and kernel assertion failures. The vulnerability has been addressed in Linux kernel versions fixed after 7.0.0-1016.16~24.04.1 and related releases.
