A fix is available in the Linux kernel source as indicated by the listed fixed commit hashes. Users and administrators should update to a kernel version that includes these fixes to remediate the issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel tracing subsystem was fixed by ensuring that the function map->ops->elt_free() is not called if the allocation function map->ops->elt_alloc() fails. This prevents improper freeing operations when object allocation fails during tracing map element allocation.
