CVE-2026-66832: CWE-598 Use of GET request method with sensitive query strings in Quanovate Tech Inc. (operating as Mira / Mira Care) Mira Firmware

0
Medium
Published: 08/11/2026 (08/11/2026, 20:49:56 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: Quanovate Tech Inc. (operating as Mira / Mira Care)
Product: Mira Firmware

Description

When the Mira Android app opens in-app WebView content (e.g., shop redirect flows), the user's live session token is appended to the URL as a query string parameter, and a persistent user identifier is included in the WebView's User-Agent header. Both are then transmitted to third-party web properties, referrer logs, and any JavaScript running in the WebView context.

Technical Analysis

This vulnerability (CWE-598) arises because the Mira Android app exposes sensitive information by including the live session token in GET request URLs and a persistent user identifier in the User-Agent header within WebView content. This data is then sent to third-party websites and can be accessed by scripts running in the WebView, increasing the risk of session token leakage and user tracking. The affected version is exactly 1.7.1.47. No official remediation or patch is currently documented, and no known exploits are reported in the wild.

Potential Impact

Exposure of live session tokens and persistent user identifiers to third-party web properties and scripts can lead to unauthorized session hijacking or user tracking. Since the session token is included in URLs and headers transmitted externally, attackers or third parties may capture these sensitive tokens, compromising user privacy and security.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, users and administrators should avoid using version 1.7.1.47 of Mira Firmware where possible. Consider limiting or monitoring WebView usage that loads third-party content to reduce exposure of sensitive tokens.
