Published: 08/02/2026 (08/02/2026, 12:15:25 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: ArcadeData
Product: arcadedb

Description

ArcadeDB versions prior to 26.7.3 have an information disclosure vulnerability in the MCP get_server_settings tool that exposes the cluster token in cleartext. An attacker with MCP access can retrieve this token and use specific headers to impersonate the root user, potentially leading to full server compromise. The vulnerability has a high severity score of 7.7 (CVSS 4.0). No official patch or remediation level has been confirmed yet.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-67357 describes an information disclosure vulnerability in ArcadeDB's MCP get_server_settings tool that leaks the arcadedb.ha.clusterToken in cleartext. This token is critical for authentication, and attackers with MCP access can exploit it by using the X-ArcadeDB-Cluster-Token and X-ArcadeDB-Forwarded-User headers to impersonate the root user, resulting in full server compromise. The vulnerability affects versions before 26.7.3. The CVSS 4.0 vector indicates network attack vector, high complexity, partial privileges required, no user interaction, and high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. No patch or official remediation guidance is currently available.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows attackers with MCP access to obtain the cluster token, which can be used to impersonate the root user and gain full control over the server. This leads to a complete compromise of the affected system's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is released, restrict MCP access to trusted users only and monitor for unauthorized access attempts. Avoid exposing the MCP interface to untrusted networks.
