Description
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Bluetooth RFCOMM implementation was fixed. The flaw occurs in rfcomm_tty_set_termios where a session pointer is accessed without proper locking, allowing a race condition that can lead to use-after-free. The issue was detected by KASAN and involves dereferencing freed memory during TTY ioctl operations. The fix involves adding a helper function that holds the rfcomm_mutex while verifying the session's validity and sending the RPN frame, preventing the race.
